Short answer: You challenge players ranked slightly above you. Win and you take their spot or jump ahead. You schedule matches yourself within the season, and results are reported online.
A ladder is a ranked list you climb by challenging players above you.
The rules we use
- You can challenge anyone up to 3 spots above you.
- Matches must be played within 10 days of the challenge.
- If the lower-ranked player wins, they take the higher spot and everyone in between drops one.
- Report the score online. Your opponent confirms it, then rankings and Rally Ratings update automatically.
Why players love ladders
You play when it suits you, you always face someone close to your level, and there is a clear finish line at season end.
