Participant Waiver and Release

Please read carefully. By registering for or participating in any Rally Jax event, you (or, for a minor, the parent or legal guardian) agree to the following.

Assumption of risk

I understand that tennis involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, being struck by balls or rackets, muscle and joint injuries, cardiac events, dehydration and heat illness, and hazards from weather including lightning. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

Fitness to play

I confirm that I am physically able to participate and have no medical condition that makes participation unsafe. I will stop playing and seek help if I feel unwell, and I will follow heat and lightning safety guidance.

Release

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, I release and agree not to sue Rally Jax Tennis Club, its organizers, staff, volunteers and host facilities for any injury, loss or damage arising from my participation, except where caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

Medical treatment

I authorize event staff to obtain emergency medical treatment for me (or my child) if I cannot do so myself, at my expense.

Photos

I agree that photos or video taken at events may be used to promote Rally Jax. I can opt out by emailing hello@rallyjax.com.

Minors

If the participant is under 18, the parent or guardian accepting this waiver agrees to it on the minor's behalf, to the extent permitted by Florida law.
